About Us

My name is Dr. Tember McNeill, board certified doctor of Chiropractic. I am a graduate of Logan University and I am the owner of Peak Performance here in the heart of the Ozarks. I first visited Newton County back in the summer of 2009. I spent a week here hiking, rock climbing, enjoying the community, and as most people do, I immediately fell in love with this place. It's hard to say exactly what did the trick, but from the first taste of the ozarks, I've always felt that this was going to be my home.

A year later, I made the leap and moved to Jasper, Arkansas.

I worked as the head wrangler at Horseshoe Canyon Ranch for a few years, then in 2013 I decided to go to chiropractic school. I've always had a heart for helping people, and I knew that chiropractic care would allow me to help the community I had grown to love. It was my chance to give back to my friends and family, and to help provide quality care to those who need it most.

My love for the community is only matched by my love for animals. While finishing up my doctorate, I decided to take a certification course on animal chiropractic care. I graduated from Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic in 2016, and am a certified animal chiropractor by the American Veterinary Association. This certification allows me to give our pets and livestock equal attention and care, as I have dreamt since I was a horse loving little girl.

After entering my senior externship the last few months before graduation, I married my best friend Morgan. We purchased a piece of this paradise near Low Gap, to call our forever home. If you don't see me around town or caring for patients in the clinic or at a barn, I'm probably spending time outside with my beloved two and four legged friends. I appreciate your support in my profession, and hope to see you all soon.

Yours Truly in Health,

Dr. Tember

Equine Chiropractic

Horses need chiropractic care? Absolutely!

They all play, stumble, kick, and trip - so they have spinal and skeletal misalignments as well.

How do you know when your horse needs chiropractic?

Outside of a major trauma or illness, a horse may have discomfort that causes a behavior modification or change in general well being. This may occur due to daily life or training activities.

Examples: Irritation while saddling, missing leads, stumbling, pulling back while tied, past dental work. etc.

The foundation of an animal is just as important as their spine.

I treat horses from head to tail, and hoof to withers.

Posture, gait, and more will be evaulated during examination to be sure your horse is a candidate for chiropractic treatment.

A saddle fit consultation can be scheduled in addition to chiropractic care. The way a saddle fits a horse can make or break their movement. This is a key compnent to any working or pleasure horse's comfort and proper biomechanics.

Pricing for Chiropractic Exam & Treatment:

$110.00 per horse

Saddle Fit Consultation:

$60.00

Mileage Charge:
$50.00 Service charge or

Small Animals & Livestock

Other animals, too?
Definitely.

All creatures, including cows, goats, kitties, and dogs (to name a few) will have spinal/skeletal misalignments.

How do you know when your four legged friend needs chiropractic?
Outside of a major trauma or illness, animals may exibit a temperment or attitude change. This may occur due to daily activities or stresses to the animal.

Examples: pulling on leases, dogs that repeatedly miss catching their usual throwing toy, incontinence, constipation, jumping of couches/beds, etc.

The foundation of an animal is just as important as their spine. I treat animals from their head to tail, and hooves/paws to withers.
